The Final Days

Well, she's off! We had a great final week with Cassie, what a whirlwind week it was! We went to Moab so that Cassie could hike at Arches. What a great time we had. When we came back we started getting ready for the get together at our house when we got the unexpected news that Cassie's sister had her baby a month early! But the event took place without a hitch. Cassie did a wonderful job speaking and many of our close family and friends came in her support.Thank you so much! The next day Cassie and I (Sue) hopped on a plane bound for Las Vegas where we got to see the new little baby. We're sure he came early so he could see Cassie before she left. Tuesday we flew back and finished packing and finalizing everything. Wednesday we all piled in the Subaru and drove to Provo to have one final meal together with the Thacker's before sending Cassie off. Whew! I barely had a minute to cry.

Well, it is getting close. I will be leaving in less than two weeks now. I hope to see you all before I leave! Please let me know if you need the information for any of the parties and such. I am getting SOOOO Excited!!! I will post one more time before I leave then my wonderful Momma will be taking care of this blog. I love you all, thank you so much for helping me get to where I am today. I couldn't have done it without all of you!

Playing Catch Up

Ok. Here are the most interesting points about what has been going on since I last blogged. Make sure you look at the post below this one to see my projects! School has been consuming all of my time. But it is over now. YES! I celebrated by eating Fruit by the foot (hence: the green tongue) and watching "My Three Sons".

I chopped off my hair! Don't pay attention to my goofy face. Just look at the hair cut. I don't mind it so far. I haven't had bangs since Kindergarten so it was a bit of an adjustment. I have been told that it makes me look old... Great! (with a hint of sarcasm).


We celebrated Larry and Joni's Birthday on Friday and Saturday. Unfortunately, my camera died before we could get a picture of Larry, Joni, and I. So here is half the table... Cute gammy and gramps with trent and casandra.

Daddo and I worked on Olive during conference weekend. We changed the serpentine belt and washed her. I think I was in the way more than being helpful, but I learned a lot about cars thanks to my very knowledgeable Old Man. Thanks Pappy.

What I do inbetween Mission Preparations and Life

Well, I know this is way off subject of the Mission. I appologize to all my loyal veiwers who only want to see the latter. My teacher wanted us to share our progress with our families and friends. This class is based on teaching modeling/rendering/animation in AutoDesk VIZ. Basically it is creating a 3D world. I am in the second semester of the class and really enjoy it.


This was my first semester Final Project. It is actually a project that I am helping with at work. It is being built near Kamas. Just so you have an idea of how much work goes into one of these pictures: I spent over 100 hrs on each one. We create everything you see on the computer. We model everything from scratch. I have to place all of the lights and add materials. The hardest part is making it look real.

This is what I turned in for my Mid-Midterm this semester. It is a dining room... just incase you can't tell. If you look closely you can see my wedding picture and the first Presidency in the background. I think I am improving. Let me know what you think!



And this was my final project for the second semester. It was a lot of fun. I still have a lot of problems with it though.
